About Debi:
I'm a wife and mom of five amazing children, one of whom is in Spirit — my son, Ben, who transitioned at the age of 38 in December 2021. I became a group leader with Helping Parents Heal because of the profound support and healing I experienced through the organization. They showed me how to continue my relationship with Ben in Spirit, and that connection has been the key to rediscovering peace, joy, and purpose in my life. Now, I’m dedicated to helping other parents in our area know they are not alone. Through love, support, and connection, I believe we can grow from bereaved to Shining Light Parents — honoring our children by continuing to live fully, with meaning and hope.
