Liz Harte:

Since Sarina has lost a child also, she can relate to others whose children have crossed over. I have attended a workshop she did at Lily Dale in NY, had a very positive reading from her and have taken part in her monthly free meditations. Sarina is a very positive person with a bubbly personality. I think she will be a real asset to HPH.

Carolyn Van der Vorst:
When Sarina told me that she was pursuing being credentialed with HPH, I was thrilled! What a perfect fit. Why? Here's my list of reasons:
1) Experience: Sarina's been there. She's experienced the grief of her child passing and is on that journey with us. She knows what it means to be angry and despairing and is not afraid to acknowledge and talk about those feelings. You will never have to worry about her being insensitive to a grieving parent, or ignorant of their experiences. She has an automatic connection, grounded in real experience.
2) Passion: Sarina has a passion to teach and mentor others in connecting with spirit themselves - as one of her students, I'm living proof of that! More specifically, she has expressed that she wants to help parents connect with their transitioned children, not only through her mediumship, but by teaching them that they can connect directly. Again, Sarina has walked this path herself - she has learned how to receive from her son in spirit and become an expert at it! (evidenced in her book "My View from Heaven")
3) Ability: I've heard that HPH has its own rigorous process to test this, but I can also verify, as one of Sarina's students, that she knows what she's doing! I meet with Sarina monthly for a one-on-one psychic session, as well as for a monthly 2-hour group training. Her readings with me are always spot-on and helpful and congruent with other spirit promptings and messages I'm receiving outside of our mentorship. She brings in Luke regularly and I can consistently identify his personality in what she relates. Our classes are filled with pertinent information and plenty of practical application and practise opportunities.
3) Partnership: Sarina clearly does not do this work alone. She is constantly asking for guidance from her guides and teachers, as well as ours, and from JT, her son in spirit. She is definitely a team player and is willing to go where the spirits lead her.
4) Integrity: I've really appreciated Sarina's approach to our certification program. To begin with, she carefully and openly (with her team in spirit) screens her students to ensure their readiness for the program, both in terms of their intentions and their timelines. She is committed to our schedule, always on time, always sends timely reminders and communicates regularly. She is always prepared, whether for class or one-on-ones, with a cheerful, grounded attitude and a readiness to get down to work. I never feel like there is time wasted.
5) Humility: Sarina is a grounded, straight-talk kind of person - not the typical "woo-woo" often associated with spirit work.   She presents as "one of us" - if you saw her on the street you would not automatically guess she's a psychic medium or into spiritual work. To me, that's an advantage Sarina has. It makes her seem more approachable and makes her work seem more "normal", like spirit communication is attainable for all of us, another thing we do, like folding the laundry!
Hopefully this email recommendation wasn't too long and proves helpful! I, for one, would LOVE to see Sarina (and JT) presenting at our next HPH conference! (and on Zoom until then )
sincerely,
~Carolyn Van der Vorst
Carrie Hackwelder-Longo:
I lost my 21-year-old son in 2016, and in searching for all of the answers that bereaved parents ask, I came upon a workshop given by Sarina in Lily Dale, NY.  Before attending, I ordered her book and instantly knew that this person was going to help me heal more than anyone could.
The workshop itself was inspiring, life-affirming, and so powerful that it set me on my own journey to connect with my son and help others who are on the same journey in my own local area. Due to this positive and moving experience, I signed up for an online writing from the soul workshop with Sarina a few years later that culminated in the participants co-authoring a book together! This book has gone on to win several awards and help even more people deal with their grief.
Sarina not only helps parents heal from the loss of their children, but she gives them the tools to be able to make their own connections to reach their children.  She helps bereaved parents understand the "whys" that plague us and helps us to dig out of the dark shadows that swallow us up while guiding us to break the cycles of guilt and shame and despair that come with the status of being a bereaved parent.  I have also witnessed some important life-altering work that she does with the siblings of children who have passed.
Sarina Baptista is an engaging, authentic, and extremely skilled and well-versed professional in her field. She provides an authentic, top-notch service for her clients.  She has changed my life significantly and pulled me out of the dark places that grief takes people. Because of her gifts and her guidance, I have been able to survive the enormous loss of my son who was the light of my life.  There is no doubt that she will be an enormous asset to your organization.  She provides so much truly necessary relief, guidance, support, and healing to those in the most desperate of need - bereaved parents.
Thank you for your time and consideration,
~Carrie Hackwelder-Longo
