Oh, my sweet boy. I attached 2 videos (of the many I have) of my boy dancing to make me laugh. Please click here to view the first and here to view the second. There's a shot of him in the canvas hat Daisy described and one with his shaggy hair. She is correct that his hair was shorter when he passed but he mostly wore it long. and he brings up his beautiful hair and how good looking he is all the time!
I hesitated to raise my hand because although Daisy described my son and my living room, I was not sitting there at the moment. As she went on and especially when she mentioned April, my birthday month, I thought it might be me.
Daisy Mae Moore spoke about a young man with longish brown hair, very funny and doing a shuffle kind of dance. This is my son, Jagger to a tee. Daisy is correct that his hair was shorter when he passed but he mostly wore it long. and he brings up his beautiful hair and how good looking he is all the time! She described a living room with a sofa and door on the left. This is my layout. She talked about 2 dogs. 1 on the couch and a smaller dog, possibly in spirit. My lovely mutt, Marleigh, lies next to me on the couch all the time. Jagger grew up with a neighbor's dog (seen in pic walking Cooper) who recently crossed. She described him wearing a canvas hat and I immediately pictured this one shot taken in Cape Cod.
Daisy mentioned April which is my birthday and August which is when my son transitioned.
He made fun of my outfit and knew that it was not just a top "all the way to your ankles." So on brand for him to tease me about my clothes. There was also mention of hearing creaking and noises and things rocking back and forth. He confirmed this is him and mentioned the kitchen being his favorite place. Most of the activity including noises, lights flashing, etc happen in the kitchen. The dog has seen him there as well.
This was so needed after a rough day - just a validation from my boy that he is here and sees me and what I'm going through. Thank you, Elizabeth, Daisy and HPH. You are a lifeline.
~xoxo, Amber Briscoe
