I have a feeling when I come on Lexi will show up. She’s my superstar and knows when I need it. Today was a hard day. I told Lexi I needed her tonight. All day I cried. This is the first time this has happened since she left. I lit a candle and asked Lexi to come see me tonight with Kathi Behrens….

Low and behold she was the first to come thru.

Kathi started with I have a girl that was kind of a tomboy mentioned dad and feeling dad and mom needed to hear this. Dad had just walked out the door for work as this started. Lexi loves her dad with everything. She is such a daddy’s girl. Kathi spoke about how she would go to dad about me and that is 100% accurate. Lexi would tell on me to her father when I was being “rude.”

Kathi stated she liked cars and dad taught her to change the oil and pump her gas. In which her dad specifically showed her how to change her oil and pump up her tires and other things. Lexi always talked about all these different sport cars she wanted specifically Nissan 350Z. It’s just so so her!! Kathi stated Lexi takes responsibility for her transition. She was in an accident with her father and they weren’t wearing their safety gear at that moment. Kathi asked about a teddy bear and we laid her favorite teddy bear with her at her viewing and she also spoke of a dog with her in which our only family dog transitioned almost exactly a year before Lexi and it was her dads best friend. It was so nice to hear that Chevy is with Lexi. Kathi also stated she saw scrolling with pictures and I had been doing that the last few days and been getting memes online of mom messages and other things that seemed oddly for me.  Lex is our only child so when I see the words mom and a message it makes my heart skip a beat!

Kathi also spoke of me wearing her clothes, a necklace and songs. All of which are so accurate. I wear her shirt I hid from her when she was here because it was very faded and frumpy. Her dad had a necklace made in honor of Lex and I randomly start humming songs that I’ve not heard in years and I start my day many days with a little tune that goes like this “Lexi boo, momma loves you. You’re my baby girl and I can’t wait to see you.”

This momma heart needed all of this tonight. Thank you. Enjoy a picture of Lexi and Chevy our shining lights.
