I want to thank you so very much for spending time on Sunday with Ann Arbor‘s Helping Parents Heal Group. I think it was a blessing, especially for my husband.
I honestly did not think Kyle would come through. Although he was definitely a people person and was a great entertainer. He also did not like being in front of a big group of people. When we were at the Helping Parents Heal conference he had told Maureen Hancock that there was no way he would’ve got up and talked in front of a big group like that, which I think was probably close to 1000.
You definitely connected with Kyle. He was into lifting weights and getting his body fat at a certain percent before he passed, and he definitely was a very good talker. As an individual, he could tell you something which you knew there was no way it could be true, but made you believe it. His brain was always very busy. Thinking of ways for a new business or just working out math problems in his brain without having to figure them out.
Kyle and I definitely had a special bond where I could feel if something was not right with him. He has been sending me a lot of signs since he passed. So saying that he is a hugger and is always behind me hugging is very accurate as well as heartwarming that it was mentioned.
You mentioned about being proud of a car. Looking back on that he was proud of his job working at Ford putting cars together and that rolled into Phil teaching him to work hard and we did not understand the connection at first but now we do.
To say he had a rocky road with his relationship was a mild statement. And I’m glad that it was mentioned, and we should not be picking apart everything that happened with the relationship and his passing.
It also made us both very happy that he acknowledged what a great team, Phil and I are. We have always been that way, but after he passed, we became even stronger.
I’ve attached a few pictures so you could see how accurate you were.
Light, love and gratitude in our hearts,
~Cheryl and Phil Clossick
