Lee / Rosanne / Rosanne's Family

I think back to six plus years ago when Lee transitioned, and I am amazed at how far I’ve come. During those dark days, I believed my life would forever be full of pain, and I would never be the same again. I mourned the loss of me along with Lee. But then I was divinely guided to Helping Parents Heal where I learned, grew, and was able to plant my feet firmly on a healing path.

The path of healing was not always smooth and it took work, but there were always people to reach out to who understood, when I needed guidance, reassurance, or simply a friend to listen. And these people are now my people, the most loving and authentic humans who I have come to love. I couldn’t imagine my life without them. People like Elizabeth, Irene, and countless others who have inspired me, guided me, and taught me.

I am honored to serve as an affiliate leader and a caring listener as well as part of a team of directors which includes Kathy McMannis and Patti May to help new AL’s get started.

I am so grateful to be part of this organization to help others as we journey together.

No, I am not the same as before. I am expansive and limitless. My heart has found joy, love, patience, forgiveness and peace. I miss Lee with every breath, thought, and fiber of my being, but I have found meaning and purpose in my life. 

BIO:

Rosanne Norris embarked on a spiritual path, in 2018, after her thirty-year old son, Lee, passed from an unexpected, accidental carbon monoxide poisoning. She is an affiliate leader and caring listener for a peer-to-peer based, international, non-profit organization, called Helping Parents Heal, whose mission is to help support parents, after the loss of a child.

Rosanne is the author of the book, beLEEve, a Journey of Loss, Healing, and Hope (2020), and a contributor to seven anthologies: Ordinary Oneness, The Simplicity of Everyday Love, Grace and Hope (2021), Gathering at the Doorway, An Anthology of Signs, Visits, and Messages from the Afterlife (2022), Ignite Your Inner Fire (2023), Awaken Your Magic, Real Life Manifestation Journeys (2024, Paws and Purpose, Inspiring Animal Tales of Healing and Transformation (2024),  Finding Your Path, Illuminated Adventures in Spiritual Awakening and Growth (2024)) and soon-to-be-released, Guided by Spirit, A Quest for Self-Discovery, Insight, and Illumination  (2024).  Rosanne was featured in the award-winning documentary, “Rinaldi,” the story of Brazilian trans-communication researcher, Sonia Rinaldi, who for over thirty years has brought through images and voices from deceased loved ones.

Additionally, Rosanne is a Reiki Master, and a certified grief educator, trained by the world-renowned, David Kessler.

Rosanne is working on future writing projects. Her interests include reading spiritual books, podcasts, cooking, spending time with family, especially her grandchildren, and being with her dog, Fritz.
