Yesterday was so special in so many ways. Our Gabby was working overtime to get signs and messages to my husband and I.  When I saw that Beth Lynch was doing a gallery reading, I got a nudge from our daughter to attend.
Beth said she saw a jet ski and heard the name Gabrielle and then Gabby Gabby.  Earlier today we were looking over pictures that came up on our Memories when she was with her sisters on their trip to Tennessee and they were riding jet skis!  Gabby said she was with us when we were looking at the pictures.  Then Beth asked about chocolate cake and I had just been talking about wanting to bake one! That was Gabby's way of validating that she was with us.
Beth also said that Gabby indicated something being done in her honor.  I couldn't think of it at first, but my daughter reminded me that Gabby's best friend was organizing an event this weekend.  Gabby was a tattoo artist and her friends are hosting a fundraising event to raise money for suicide awareness called "Ink for Hope". All proceeds will go to AFSP Nevada.
Beth said she was tilting her head (see picture) and said, "The world can seem like a sad place but if I have one thing I can say to everybody (then she stretched out her arm to include all the children present with her) and we all feel this way, you make us happy when you feel us and there is beauty there. And we're shining that light down for you guys cause we love you."  Beth said she was getting a standing ovation from all the kids. Gabby continued with, "Thank you for letting us shine our light because your light shines up too."  Beth said, "They're light shines down and our light shines up."
I was speechless and so thankful to Beth and Helping Parents Heal.  Thank you so much!
