Our lives changed forever on June 22, 2022 when we tragically lost our son Liam. The world instantly became dark and hopeless as we tried to continue living life without him. Soon after his passing an angel entered my life and introduced me to Helping Parents Heal as she was headed to a conference of theirs soon, I remember watching parts of the conference video wondering how this group of people who all shared this same horrible grief could actually be smiling and seeming to enjoy themselves. At this point it didn't make sense to me and the pain was too raw to try and understand. The year of firsts was beyond difficult, feeling alone, and very isolated. As the second year was approaching people said it was actually harder than the first I thought out of desperation I signed my husband and I up for the 2024 HPH conference.
Arriving at the conference I was terrified as to what to expect and how my husband would relate to the topics being presented, The welcoming was very friendly and we were already connecting to other parents while making memory buttons for our children. Over the next few days we heard other stories, shared our painful loss, listened to incredibly talented speakers, and even smiling. We had the honor of meeting Fara Gibson as were standing in her line to have her sign a book she wrote. The connection was immediate and we knew our son had connected us to her. She offered to come to our small mountain town to give us a reading.
About a month after the conference Fara was still on my mind so I reached out in hopes of some healing. To say that we were all very skeptical is a fair statement. This would be our first reading for our family and didn't know what to expect.
After introducing herself as a psychic medium she immediately began connecting with Liam as he was anxious to share. The first part was talking about the day he passed and validated it with giving specific details that only our family would know. He spoke of his cremation and how mom has been splitting up his ashes and spreading them. I confirmed by saying yes mentioning taking them to several beaches and he says don't forget the lake, and the mountains I was there with you every time. Liam reached out to each of his siblings with confirmation that he is always with them and doesn't miss anything.
He acknowledged Grace is at school but decided to stay closer to home that she once planned and that she recently had a change in her career goals. Grace decided to stay in state for college after much thought of going out of state and recently changed her major from business/marketing to psychology. Liam talked about the concerts she has been to and asked Fara to make the heart sign with her hands which is very significant to her.
Carter was recently in a car accident Liam said he was there with you keeping you safe as it could have been so much worse. We felt this way after it happened because no air bags went off and he had no injuries after hitting a concrete wall this just confirmed what we already knew. He also referenced Carter not doing his math homework lately. I found an email in my inbox that was sent a few days prior stating the exact same thing.
Liam connected with his other brother by talking about football and how he had a recent position change and is referencing a running back position and that he was there with him on his amazing run the other week. Mason has always played a defensive position until this current season. He acknowledged that Mason doesn't want to drive yet and hasn't gotten his license which is true even though he turned 16 in January.
Liam was proud to talk about how he looked “different” from the other siblings and referenced me cutting his hair. Yes this boy had the most beautiful red hair and I cut a piece off at the mortuary to save, Liam shared how he hunted with his dad and how he always out shot him. He quickly shared mom doesn't hunt or like to eat what we get. Also talks about how his dad was a football coach but not the head coach and that he was not coaching this year. This is Matt's first year of not coaching the boys team since they were little.
There were so many validations that came through. I have always struggled with the afterlife, the signs one sends, and what happens after one dies. This session left me with no questions that our child is still right here, trying to communicate by sending signs, letting us know how amazing heaven is, and gave us so much hope. There are no words to express how grateful we are for HPH and connecting us with Fara this is one of those life changing moments we can carry with us always. Thank you Fara for sharing your amazing gift with us and connecting us with heaven you are such a beautiful person.
