Linda Salazar's Validation with her son Luke through Jane Meakin

My 25-year-old son, Luke, passed away suddenly on January 2, 2025.

Within weeks, I joined Helping Parents Heal and registered for a gallery reading via Zoom with Jane Meakin. I honestly didn't expect Luke to come through, however once Jane started channeling him, my husband and I knew right away it was our boy.

She said he was tall, passed very recently, and confirmed that it was a sudden and unexpected passing. She brought up his "wicked sense of humor," which he was absolutely known for, and also brought up aspects of his personality that only we knew, such as how he could be funny and loving and bubbly but could also be in a very dark place within himself.

Luke assured us that there was nothing we could have done to prevent his physical passing and told us to stop beating ourselves up for trying to push him to be more responsible in life. He said he understood that we just loved him and were trying our best to help him.

He also mentioned that his passing was driving a wedge between us and gave us some suggestions to try to bridge the gap in our differences in grieving (which I will absolutely try to follow).

I miss my boy so much and am still struggling with his transition, but I am so grateful that Jane was able to share that Luke is happy and at peace. It feels like Luke has given me permission to stop dwelling on his physical absence and focus on living my life and strengthening my relationship with my husband.
