On November 7, 2023, I was on the Helping Parents Heal Zoom call with Pauline Mason. I have participated before and enjoyed each of the communications from the other children. I normally attend so I can learn from others and use their communication as a way of healing. Until that day, I haven’t had a reading before. Suddenly, I heard “male”, “terminal condition”, “illness developed”, “loved music – drums”, “lost weight”, “breathing difficulty”, etc... I said: “That’s Daniel!” and quickly typed: “My son passed with cancer, mediastinal tumor, he played the drums and piano.”

The communication that I received from Pauline was extremely accurate. My son Daniel, 21, was 5’11” tall. Daniel used to hug me, touched my head and said: “You are so little, mom!”, I am only 4’11” tall.

Daniel had beautiful brown eyes. While at college, he quickly developed flu symptoms, immediately he was diagnosed with Mediastinal Germ Cell Cancer stage 3. During Daniel’s treatment, he stayed at home for 5 months. On November 29, 2022, while Daniel was preparing for a high dose chemo and autologous stem cell transplant, his condition progressed. The mass on his chest grew so much that collapsed his left lung. Due to this, Daniel had breathing difficulties, his lips were dry, he was offered comfort care only, and transitioned on 12/2/2022. Daniel never complained or showed pain, he kept his beautiful smile and sense of humor all the time.

Thanks to Pauline, I am convinced that Daniel is with me, and that we should smile every time that we remember him.

Thanks to HPH for the opportunity to hear from my son Daniel.

PS: In the photo, Daniel is wearing the special black jacket that looks like “leather” as Pauline stated.
