Hello, my name is Ann-Christin. I am a mother of three wonderful children; Benedict,Mathias and Joachim. We lost our youngest son summer 2018. He was found in the mountains here with a farewell letter in his pocket. In the blink of an eye our world turned upside down. Joachim was 21, already a skilled martial artist, and he had a bright future in front of him. This traumatic loss has changed everything in my life, and in my family's life. I was lucky to find Helping Parents Heal and Suzanne Giesemann early on, and in her reading she gave me solid evidences about my son. The following year I traveled to The Arthur Findlay Collage where I got further confirmation about Joachim's continuing presence in my life. Zoom meetings with other parents and resources from HPH have been, and still are very important for me.
Last year (2022) I finished a Grief Education Certification Course with David Kessler. I feel very honored to be able to participate in HPH as a Caring Listener, and I would love to help, share and listen to other parents on this journey.

Our 16 years old son Alexander gained his wings after a traffic accident in May 2020. Alexander is an amazing in every way, always curios, funny and caring. Shortly after his passing, he began communicating through dreams, birds, and mediations. The signs gave us hope and strength to keep on going despite years of investigations, trials, and media coverage.
Alexander will forever be an important part of our lives. He is included when we set the table and his shoes are still in the hallway. We talk about him and to him every day.
We’ve always travelled frequently with Alexander and his three siblings. After the accident, we‘ve honored Alexanders love for adventure by bringing a rock with his name or #ride4alex written on it and placing it in beautiful spots. Other people have done the same. In august 2022, we attended the amazing HPH conference for the first time. During the stay, one of us dreamt that a medium approached us, announcing a message from our son. To our surprise, that’s exactly what happened the next day. No doubt, Alexander is still with us.
HPH has meant so much to us since the accident. We would like to be there for other angel parents looking for hope and meaning.
