Please join me, Kathy MacMannis, Rosanne Groover Norris, Patti May, and Irene Vouvalides in welcoming the three newest members of our HPH team! Jessica Baca and Dave and Jenny Rohr McCall will be leading a group in Phoenix East Valley. Welcome! We are grateful you are here.
Jessica Baca
Hello, my name is Jess. I’m the mother of two amazing boys. My youngest, Alex, is preparing to attend ASU, and my firstborn, Jordan (F18), transitioned in 2022 due to an accidental injury.
Jordan was my greatest teacher—both during our 18 years together and in the spiritual connection we continue to share. Diagnosed with autism at age eight, he faced challenges early on, but by 15, his spirit started to settle. He became an advocate for his peers, shared his passions, and brought joy to those around him. Quirky, kind, and endlessly insightful, he loved hiding rubber ducks at school and often joked about being immortal. Only after his transition did I truly understand—his spirit is truly immortal, continuing to guide and connect with me beyond the physical world.
Losing a child is an unimaginable journey—one none of us ever expected to take. But through this experience, I’ve learned that love never ends. Jordan’s presence continues to surround me. I am honored to walk alongside other Shining Light Parents as we navigate this path together.
Jenny and Dave McCall
Jenny and her husband, Dave, are dedicated parents to five wonderful children—three biological and two adopted from foster care. As former foster parents of over 10 years, they remain deeply involved in their community through their businesses—Dave runs their air conditioning company, while Jenny thrives as a real estate professional.
In 2023, their beloved second-born son, Andy, went to heaven. Since then, Jenny and Dave have been on a journey of maintaining a spiritual connection with him. Jenny is an advanced meditator studying under Dr. Joe Dispenza, embracing mindfulness and healing. They continue to advocate for foster care and look forward to hosting Helping Parent Heal meetings, creating a supportive space for other Shining Light parents who seek to stay close to their children in spirit.
Through business, community, and personal growth, Jenny is committed to making a lasting impact on those around her.
