Please join me, Kathy MacMannis, Rosanne Norris, and Patti May, in welcoming our newest Affiliate Leader, Lisa Taylor of Charleston, SC! We are grateful that she will be joining us.
Hello – I’m Lisa, Charlie’s Mom. I adopted my sweet boy when he was just two days old. I couldn’t have been luckier to be his Mom. Charlie was such a fun, thoughtful, silly little boy. Looking back, I think he was an old soul. One of my greatest memories was when I picked him up from preschool one day to see him holding a little girl’s hand at the bottom of the slide and walking her up the steps to slide again. I learned from his teacher that his friend was blind and Charlie often helped her.
Sadly, he was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor at the age of 4 ½ and transitioned a year later on May 5, 2018. The world was turned upside down, as every parent who experienced this understands. I did everything I could to learn more about the afterlife and found much comfort visiting a medium. It took me four years to find Helping Parents Heal and I could not be more grateful. I recently moved to SC and am excited to create a group in Charleston, where other parents can come together and heal with those who “get it”.
