Please join me and our Co-Affiliate Directors, Kathy MacMannis, Patti May and Rosanne Groover Norris, in welcoming our newest team member, Sylvia Gonzalez Gee! We are grateful that she has joined us. She will be working with Molly Birkeland for Parents of Infants, Toddlers and Young Children.
Molly Birkeland
Hi, I’m Molly Birkeland! My beautiful son, Hudson, transitioned at 19 months old on 3/15/22. In the first few months after his passing, I felt so confused and afraid. I could not understand why this had happened to Hudson and to our family. As I began to receive many direct signs from Hudson, I started to realize that while he is not with me in his physical body anymore, he is most certainly present with me in his spiritual body. This began my spiritual journey which eventually led me to our wonderful Helping Parents Heal organization.
I am a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. I have additional training in perinatal wellness, nutrition, and yoga. I am passionate about coming alongside other parents who have lost a child and helping to normalize the emotions they are experiencing. Please feel free to reach out to me if you need a listening ear, are interested in learning more about the Young Children affiliate group, or if you have any other questions! I am here to support!
Sylvia Gonzalez Gee
My name is Sylvia Gonzalez Gee, I am the mother of two precious children, my daughter Sofia and my son in spirit Sebastian Gee. On July 13, 2021 my youngest and only son Sebastian transitioned at the age of 10. During his short time on this side of life, Sebastian touched everyone that he met with his huge smile, magnetic personality, and shining spirit. On the last year before completing his mission on earth, he gifted me with what I now realize were signs of what was to come and these experiences along with his dream visitations have helped sustain me as I navigate this journey of grief. Every day I cry, but most days I also laugh and love and experience moments of joy as I feel his presence and work to transform my pain into purpose in honor of my baby boy. To share this sacred space with other mothers who have walked this road brings tears to my eyes and love to my heart.
