The day before our 35th Wedding Anniversary, on March 12th, Cyril was busy organizing his office. It was a gloomy Saturday, with dark grey skies culminating in a sudden downpour with lightning and thunder that lasted about 30 minutes. Cyril and I were in a funk about the weather, deciding how to celebrate our forthcoming, significant anniversary date.

Suddenly, Cyril called out to me and hurried from his office, holding a beautiful work by Morgan that he had just pulled out of a storage drawer. It had lain hidden for almost 27 years. Morgan completed this unique pen and crayon work the year we moved from France to the United States. The drawing is colorful, uplifting, and beautiful; it seems precisely drawn and shaded for an eight-year-old. Moreover, the land, sea creatures, stars, and planets appear to be smiling. My dear friend Lisa Wilcoxson pointed out that the brightly-colored animals give the impression of swirling in a Fibonacci Circle. This complex work was further proof that Morgan was old before his time. What a fantastic gift Morgan gave to us that day.

However, the magic wasn't over yet! As soon as Cyril had shown me Morgan's Oceanic Galaxy, the rain suddenly stopped. Cyril and I went outside to dry off the lawn furniture and move things into the sun. As we worked, we watched as two perfect rainbows formed in the sky to the East.

We are confident that Morgan was showing us that he was grateful that we had received his beautiful anniversary gift. Cyril and I received another gift from Morgan the next day, on March 12th, when Fara Gibson brought through Morgan with flying colors at the Helping Fathers Heal group meeting at LC Classics.

As we all know, our children often fill these journeys toward healing with Collateral Beauty! Please continue to watch for, and expect, rainbows. Love lives forever, and our kids are awesome.  Thank you, Morgan.
