Our First Helping Parents Heal Conference
by Karl Fink, Founder of Streaming for the Soul
When I hit send on my email to Elizabeth Boisson inquiring about her interest in live streaming the first annual Helping Parents Heal conference six years ago, I had no idea how extraordinary the experience was going to be.
As my clairvoyant daughter Ruby and I worked to set up and get ready to live stream, she told me there were lots of kids (in spirit) already in the room and they were all playing and excited for the weekend. We were close to finishing when I realized we were missing two lights. I'd asked Ruby to bring them in when we were unloading but she got busy setting up cameras and retrieving the lights had slipped her mind.
She went outside to collect the lights from where we'd left them, but the lights were gone. Ruby came back inside, looking around a bit sheepishly, hoping what she feared was the truth wouldn't actually be the truth.
Turned out it was the truth. The lights had been left outside, and the lights had vanished. She took another look around the ballroom checking all the same spots, this time with even greater focus and intensity as though that might cause the lights to precipitate from aether, but unfortunately, the lights didn't magically appear.
As she re-scanned the room, however; I did see a light suddenly go off in Ruby's head, and she dashed out of the ballroom, disappearing down the corridor. She returned a few minutes later with a bright, cheery, and very relieved smile on her face, carrying the two missing lights.
I asked where she'd found them and she told me, "Chelsea told me to check the front desk so I did and they were there."
"Chelsea?" I asked. Ruby said, "she's one of the kids that's been running around playing." "Ah," I said, "one of the kids who has passed?" "Yeah," said Ruby. "Morgan's sister." "I don't think I know Morgan," I said. "I don't either," said Ruby. "But he's having a lot of fun with all the other kids."
That alone, I thought, was a pretty cool way for us to start off the FIrst Helping Parents Heal conference, being assisted in our set up by some of the kids in spirit that were there to shower love and joy on their parents who were physically attending.
What I didn't know, and what Ruby didn't know, is Chelsea and Morgan are Elizabeth and Cyril Boisson's children. And Chelsea, who had directed Ruby to check the front desk for the missing lights, passed when she was only two days old.
The entire weekend was filled with many such instances of the veil between the physical realm and the spirit realm showing how very very thin it truly is. It was a weekend filled with heartfelt presentations, healing, and the boundless energy of Shining Light youth in the room.
Helping Parents Heal is an organization dedicated to the emotional healing of parents who have suffered the loss of a child, successfully transforming grief by replacing feelings of loss with evidence of continuity of the soul.
