Jake / Connie Fusella
I wanted to share with you the amazing piggyback during Connie's August 8 gallery reading for Kathleen Davi.
Connie: I'm getting a little lady 5'1 or 5'2, chubbier around the middle, always in the kitchen, ethnic background, could be Italian, either a mom or grandma, woman of faith, Catholic connection, statue of Virgin Mary in the house, brings name Rose
Me: My short, stout and extremely devout Catholic and Italian grandmother was Rose and almost all my memories of her were in the kitchen. She had a statue of Mary in her house.
Connie: She brings a young person, and there's a connection to the name Anthony or Tony.
Me: The young person is my son, Jake, and Anthony is my late father (son of Rose), but was called Tony.
Connie: The son said Kathleen Davi (the sitter) was his biggest cheerleader, and that she was getting the number one. Could be January.
Me: The birth month of Jake, my firstborn (number one) was January. Also, he was in a band for a few years, and I followed him on Twitter with the handle, YE#1fan.
Connie: There's a little table with stuff on it.
Me: I have a very small table beside my desk in my office that I refer to as Jake's altar that has his picture and a number of items on it.
Connie: I'm getting the name, Nick, and the number 2.
Me: Nick is Jake's brother, #2. I have no other children.
Connie: The month of April is significant.
Me: Jake's band was nominated for a music award, and the band sang at the awards ceremony in  April a few years ago. It was the highlight of the band's career.
Connie: He's got a great smile and very very handsome.
Me: I've attached a picture of Jake. I'll let you be the judge.
Connie: He's showing me a lion.
Me: This one had me stumped at first, but the following day, his brother, Nick, texted me a picture of a lion because he was in South Africa, which I only became aware of with the text because Nick travels frequently.
Connie: He's showing me the moon.
Me: I have a large cement crescent moon garden decoration in my backyard, which Jake really liked.
Connie: He's showing me a ladybug.
Me: My husband and I created a memorial garden in our yard in July/24 to honour Jake, and the first item my husband bought for the garden was a ladybug garden decoration. Also, we purchased 1000 ladybugs in June/24 to hopefully address an infestation elsewhere in the yard.
Connie: There's a celebration in August?
Me: August 20, 2024, was the 30th anniversary of my husband and I meeting, and it has always been an extremely special day to us.
Connie: There's something about the wrist; something on the wrist.
Jake had an iwatch and talked me into getting one last summer. He bought one for me exactly like his, which is what I asked for.
Connie: He's talking about a body of water behind you where there's all these little birds.
Me: We have a pond (man-made) in our backyard directly behind our house, and beside the pond is a caged bird feeder that only lets in little birds and is quite popular. We also have 7 other busy bird feeders in the yard.
As you see, this was just amazing. No question of a piggyback here! Elizabeth, thank you so much for starting HPH and hosting these gallery readings, which I have been listening to since I first came across HPH in May/24 (Jake transitioned in Nov/23). And Connie, I can't thank you enough for bringing through my son so strongly, even as a piggyback.
Warmest regards to you both,
~Terry Petkau
