THE WISDOM OF GREG
Written by Susan Van Oije with Bill and Greg
Bill is just an ordinary guy who has had extraordinary things happen to him since the passing of his son Greg. Susan writes it all down. The Calgary, Canada affiliate leaders are on an amazing journey with their son.
IT'S DRAWER TIME!
You've heard that love can move mountains. Have you heard that love can open a desk drawer too?

It's true, and our son in spirit has told us how he makes that happen. Greg has given us a truly astounding insight into what is really going on here on planet Earth, and it includes a beautiful Father's Day message. It's more amazing than you could ever imagine.

Greg communicates with his Dad and I in many different ways since he passed 8 1/2 years ago at age 27, but last summer he introduced a new method: When he wanted to talk, he let us know by opening my desk drawer!

My large wood desk has sat in our home office for almost 35 years now, and in all that time, the file drawer on the desk's right side has never just opened up on its own. Until last summer, when it suddenly started to open by itself on a regular basis and Bill would hear Greg say in his head "It's drawer time!"

Sometimes I would walk into the office at the start of the day and find it's opened up overnight. Other times, Bill would be meditating as he lay on the office floor, right in front of my desk, and the drawer would open with a forceful bang!

That happened on Father's Day last year when Bill was in the office meditating and he was thinking intensely about Greg. When he was deep in his thoughts about his son and nothing else around him mattered because he was "just in that zone with Greg," the drawer on my desk popped open. Bill got up to write because Greg was talking to him. Here's what Greg said:

"Dad! I have been waiting to talk to you all day. Thanks for taking the time to connect. You were meditating and thinking about me and what I wanted to say to you, and I heard you and you heard me. That's what we do. So neat! Means so much to me that I can connect so easily with you, and I wanted to show you I was here, so I opened the drawer again. That is my sign to you that I need to talk and I am here. You have already figured that out.

"Because of our soul connection over millennia we have figured out how to speak across the veil with no difficulty through much exchanged light and energy, fueling our capacity to communicate. This relationship we have is not just bound to this Earth, as when I was your son, but bound to the infinite Universe from where we come. You are my Dad in this incarnation and those roles have been reversed in previous lifetimes, so we know the true meaning of what it is to be a son and father to each other.

"I want to say today that I am very proud to be your son and Happy Father's Day. We the children of Dads here are celebrating this day in honor of our Dads who have been there for us in our moments of our greatest need, which you certainly were for me. Thanks Dad, for all you have done and continue to do for me. It is an honor to be on this journey with you. I feel truly blessed.

"I am helping others here to tear down the veil so more love and understanding can navigate itself back and forth from your 3D world to our world of Light and Love, energy that has no bounds and can manifest anything with heart intention for all to see. Love to Mom and Kristin (Greg's sister) too. They love you very much, as I do. Again, Happy Father's Day. Love forever, your son, Gregory William Van Oije."

Over the next several months, my desk drawer continued to pop open on a regular basis, and I was absolutely fascinated by how my son achieved this seemingly impossible feat. Bill called me into the office one night to show me that the desk drawer had just spontaneously opened again while he was meditating, and I said "How does Greg do this? Does he tap the drawer from behind?" I'm laughing and asking a lot of questions, and I touched the back of the desk behind the drawer and gave it a tap while asking Bill if that's how Greg does it.

Greg, of course, is listening, and he answers me! His Dad hears Greg's answer in his head, and it's amazing: "Mom is impressed but it's no big deal. Just wavelengths of energy that distort the fabric of your time and voila! The drawer opens! It takes a little concentration to pull this one off across the dimensions. Anyways, that explanation is for Mom." Greg knows I love learning about what's going on!

A few days later, Bill woke up early in the morning and as often happens, he saw Greg's colors enveloping our bedroom and knew Greg was there. He asked Greg for more information about the energy he talked about a few days earlier, the "wavelengths of energy that distort the fabric of your time" that he uses to open the desk drawer. Bill heard Greg answer him in his head: "Love is the energy and it can bend spacetime."

Bill told me what Greg said, and I said "So it's like gravity because gravity can bend spacetime, like we've learned in all the science shows that we've watched," but Greg immediately clarifies and Bill hears him say: "Gravity is a construct of spacetime and Love can bend it."

Greg has given us a beautiful answer to a question that goes far beyond what physicists like Albert Einstein have come up with in explaining the wonders of our Universe. I think a lot of scientists would have a major problem accepting as a scientific fact that our Universe operates on Love, but it's true.

It's been several months since my desk drawer opened "by itself," and I figured it was because Greg is working on a new skill to astound his parents. But on the day that I started writing this column, he popped it open again to prove that he sees everything that's going on in our lives. Greg proves to us again and again that the power of Love can build a bridge between the physical and non-physical worlds.
