Hi, I’m Molly Birkeland! I am the leader of the Parents of Infants, Toddlers and Young Children affiliate group. My beautiful son, Hudson, transitioned at 19 months old on 3/15/22. In the first few months after his passing, I felt so confused and afraid. I could not understand why this had happened to Hudson and to our family. As I began to receive many direct signs from Hudson, I started to realize that while he is not with me in his physical body anymore, he is most certainly present with me in his spiritual body. This began my spiritual journey which eventually led me to our wonderful Helping Parents Heal organization.
I am a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. I have additional training in perinatal wellness, nutrition, and yoga. I am passionate about coming alongside other parents who have lost a child and helping to normalize the emotions they are experiencing. Please feel free to reach out to me if you need a listening ear, are interested in learning more about the Young Children affiliate group, or if you have any other questions! I am here to support!
“Molly is such an understanding, intuitive soul. She brings warmth, insight and compassion to difficult discussions and I couldn’t be more pleased with our time together.” -Loralee DiLorenzo
Lynn Argetsinger:
"Molly joined our HPH Minneapolis-St. Paul chapter in January 2023, and by April we had already invited her to guest lead one of our monthly grief and healing discussions. Molly has a rare ability to convey a feeling of deep and abiding kindness, calm, and compassion to all around her, but especially to those who are in the throes of sadness, hopelessness, and grief. I have often wondered where Molly’s spiritual depth comes from, especially for a woman still young in years. It seems that her wisdom springs from a well that is so deep that it had to have evolved through many lifetimes. I value Molly’s counsel and hope to continue to gain much from her presence in my life and in the lives of the Shining Light Parents in our group." -Lynn Argetsinger
