From Carla Kaufman Sloan: We had a lovely 3rd meeting here at HPH Miami in Coconut Grove... It went like this ... Catherine and I have found more in common since starting our affiliate group in Miami, including that we both like to put on a spread! Our meetings begin with a short mingle as we all make our way to the table laden with lovely food. This past meeting Catherine also made a coffee cake before my eyes as people were arriving. Connie also mentioned that the young man was born with a disease that affected his whole body. My dad was in the Air Force for four years and later owned a boat. Recently, I had quite the argument with my oldest son which hasn’t been resolved to my satisfaction yet. This disconnect feels so bad especially after the pain of having one son already in Heaven.
